    Course/subjects

I'm doing physics in 2nd year cause I kind of like it, and did well for first year. I'm thinking about doing a double major in maths and physics, which is why I'm continuing with it. I had to drop chem unfortunately because of my course tructure, even though I got invited into the special...

    Average Joe

I don't like melina at all I think she is cheap, highly deceptive and two-faced. She only looks good with make up on, without it she looks quite worn out and ordinary. She constantly says that "looks aren't important" particularly to the fatter guys on the show so that she doesn't appear...

    adv sciences.. r they hard??

In first year I did advanced physics, advanced maths and advanced chemistry. The material itself isn't that hard it's just that the lecturer mows through the material. You have to work harder to keep up, but when exams come round you reap the benefits of enormous scaling in favour of the...

    Timetables

In first year I had 25 contact hours a week and still managed to get Fridays off in first semester. But I wasn't so lucky in the second session. It's all luck as to whether u get a good timetable or not.

    how to change my enrolment?

Since u enrolled in the normal subjects first u may need to visit the faculty head to enrol in the adv subjects. But see if u can change your enrolment to advanced subjects on the web in a couple of weeks time through myuni.

    the manning bar (and others)

Some of them they did, but with others such as boat cruises they got denied.

    the manning bar (and others)

Fair enough. I reckon u could easily get away with your fake ID then since it's your brothers photo.

    the manning bar (and others)

Usually u aren't required to remove your ID from your wallet, but most people usually do it's just easier.

    the manning bar (and others)

lol, well u could always try your luck at manning. Some of my college friends who had fake id's at the beginning of last year managed to get into bars with bouncers around. I guess it depends how good your fake ID is and how closely the bouncer scrutinizes over it :p
  13. U

    the manning bar (and others)

Thinking of getting fake id are u? :p They look at it pretty carefully. They look at your age, photo, then you. One of my friends who was 5 days away from 18, got denied from buying alcohol at manning and there weren't even bouncers round. But like u say, theoretically u could just get...

    the manning bar (and others)

Pretty much. But bouncers are around whenever there are special events going on at manning such as bands playing etc.
  15. U

    the manning bar (and others)

There aren't any bouncers at manning bar, but the people who serve alcohol there DO check your ID.

    Science in 2004

I think u can get it from a local newsagency.

    Anyone living at SUV?

I don't go to SUV, but I hear it is quite a good place to stay, and it is quite cheap if u flat with other ppl. For example if u flat with 4 other people it's $140 a week including $40 of U-card food which u can spend at the uni village bars there. I wasn't the "college kind" of person but I...

    Science in 2004

I think u can find such stats on the careers sub-section on the Usyd website. Also have a look at the good universities guide.

    Science in 2004

I heard there were quite decent jobs for science graduates, depending of course on what u majored in. I think maths is generally a really good major to have, as the skills u develop are applicable to almost any job.

    chicks at unsw..

I can confirm there are lots of asian chicks at Usyd, and most of them are pretty good. The accounting tutes were only interesting cause of the huge gender imbalance  It was the only thing that kept me from falling asleep.
