I found it was pretty much the same as year eleven chem, i didn't really notice the difference, just kept slogging on. Lots of memorising and little understanding is required. It isn't very hard but I wouldn't say it was fun or inspired me, unlike physics...

Yes!!! I was so annoyed at that, cos i got 96% and i lost all my marks on petty stupid mistakes like that. I can see the point, and why i was wrong, but now i'm confused with other reactions when to make them reversible or not.

What is ethanol used for? Cos we have to know some uses and all i can find is that its used in cosmetics and perfumes. Does anyone have any info that's more specific?
