umm I'm not entirely sure how that one works...I haven't done it before...you could always do a test mail from your hotmail to your hotmail and see what happens....it's just if you want to send from your hotmail you're better off using the reply to by the sounds of it, as the other option only...

    tutorials

you can also go into options and have all of the messages forwarded to your hotmail account, or another account by typing that e-mail address in the field "Forward mail to" and you also have the choice of whether you want to keep a local copy or not...that is forward the mail to the other...

    Student fees

hehe yeah I was wondering why you said that cape...I thought they might have given it to you after it was due before...hehe that seems to happen with a lot of these things so that's probably as organised as they get!
  4. Jacks

    tutorials

you can link your student webmail account with your other e-mail accounts such as hotmail...log in to your student account it should explain how to there.
  5. Jacks

    Student fees

yeah they sent it through the mail, don't worry I'm sure yours is coming. ;)
  6. Jacks

    Student fees

yeah I just got mine too...they give you a lot of notice hehe...my dad was complaining, luckily he pays it for me. Thanks for all the info cape, I'm sure first years especially appreciate it :)

    Status: Unconfirm

yeah that's for tutorial registration, basically when you click on that button after you register for all of you units it tells you what you're registered for, for each subject...lecture and tute times etc...it's basically just a summary of the tute registration page :)

Do we need to DATE OUR JOURNALS?

I suggest you date them, my reason being that you can actually quote your journal entries in your reflection statement to really prove that you considered what you claim you did etc...I suppose if you had page numbers you could direct markers to a specific page, though I think it would have more...

    tutorials

no it doesn't matter, I mean you could always do it now if you want so you don't have to do it later, but you don't have to be enrolled in your spring units until spring tutorial registration which is months away...so concentrate on setting yourself up for autumn first.

    Student Webmail

Some subjects have there own sort of webpages, or information pages if you like, where lecturers will post notes from lectures, stuff about assignments etc. Not every unit will have one of these on webCT, but for some units students can log onto webCT for a little bit of extra info on...

I need your advice on something

yeah that would be right...I go to the wrong campus....grrrrr...hehe ah wells I might find a unit to do so that I can go study over there...or I could just swim at the pool I have here at home...yes you can tell I have a thing for pools but moving on...:p

I need your advice on something

yeah well good luck deciding...the only thing I know about blacktown is that it has an olympic sized swimming pool...irrelevant I know...but I'm so jealous if only bankstown had one...you know I'd probably go to blacktown just for the pool...but I don't think that's very constructive...
  13. Jacks

I need your advice on something

hehe you probably could, and hey you'd get the hang of it pretty soon, settle in easily etc I'm sure!

    lord of the rings

I agree that the fellowship is hard because there is no end to the journey which is why I suggested return of the king in the other thread you made asking the same question. If you want to continue with FOTR at least you can focus on the fact that one journey actually becomes 3...that is you...
  15. Jacks

I need your advice on something

hehe not that there's anything wrong with sleeping, especially if you're leaving early...but yeah I have to get up that early too :( It isn't too bad if you have the afternoon to work and get over stuff though
  16. Jacks

I need your advice on something

well at least that gives you some time to rest, or at least get work done so it doesn't pile up on you...and it's some travel time too so you hopefully won't be leaving home early and getting home late which is what is really draining.
  17. Jacks

I need your advice on something

oh well I don't know what your outside committments are but if you think you can juggle them as well you can give it a go...it'll be a long week though...
  18. Jacks

I need your advice on something

seriously, not even with written approval? That doesn't really help you much...well I think it's do-able, and I mean the only other option would be to sacrifice what you really want to do just to make it easier...but personally I think you'd be better off doing what you want and doing the extra...
  19. Jacks

I need your advice on something

well cape I think there is no question that you'd be tired, this doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't possible...I mean you'd really have to look at how your timetable looks and see whether you think that it's do-able for you personally...what are your other options though?

    diaries???

yep natstar basically covered it all for you, but like I said you don't have to worry about it until uni starts, it will be given to you in your first tute or lecture for each subject and will be explained to you in full then.
