    Joining Society's n stuff.

You did stir shit though, lol. I had to delete several of your posts during this month, and as a result, our agreement will be extended for another month.

    Joining Society's n stuff.

During Union Week from the 13th-17th of March there will be a chance to join some clubs again. I think there will be some stalls on the Friday (17th March). On the other hand, you can do what was suggested above and just contact the clubs directly.

when is uts going to be renovated? lol

The UTS Tower building is currently the 53rd tallest skyscraper in Sydney at 123m tall (not taking into account any buildings currently under construction). Between like rank 20 and 100 there is only like 1-2m increments. Just thought people would like to know that. In comparison, the new...

    question

As someone else has mentioned, it should be alright for most of the subject. The lecture that it'll most differ on it probably your accounting standards lecture. Statement of Financial Performance = Profit and Loss Statement Statement of Financial Position = Balance Sheet. Under the older...

    CityRail Discussion

I catch the trains all the time and I find about 80% of the time my trains run on-time (that is to the minute) and maybe 95% "on-time" (within 5 minutes). I think I just tend to catch the trains that happen to run on time (usually my express trains have prority over the slow ones and so they...

    Taxation Law

It's a rip off $35 at the co-op bookshop :( The lecture was boring today...maybe coz I was so tired =\.

    So....

Yup, but how many of you actually read the outline? :p. They say it in the lecture so you can't complain to them later on that you didn't know =p.

    timetables for MPO and ISP

MPO is gonna be so boring =p

    Uni starts tomorrow...

Gosh, don't any of you use public transport?

    My Timetable looks empty.

Yup that's right. This isn't USyd where you go to uni for 20+ hours :p. The one you have dotted is fine. As you'll find out at your ISP lecture, your ISP tutorials and labs alternate. So you either have a tutorial or lab, but not both. That's why the dates for each are different and thats why...

    Student PIN Code

I suppose you do. Must be new. All IT students get a PIN for Building 10, but that's from http://start.it.uts.edu.au. Seems to be an education faculty thing. Well if you need it and its there, then use it.

    timetables for MPO and ISP

I'd go with option 1 because it'll save you the confusion and usually a tutorial straight after the lecture (eg for MPO) is close by to the lecture room as well. Yes, the same lecturer will lecture the same MPO lecture 4 times on a Monday (feel bad for her =\...well I think its still the same...

    Big Heavy Textbooks!!

They'll tell you about books and stuff in the first week, so probably best to wait, unless you want to get the special 25% discount at the coop bookshop, which is over by now I guess, lol.

so what do we need for uni

That's pretty much all you'll need for Week 1. If your course has lecture notes online or in a booklet for you to buy, then after Week 1 you should probably take those along with you too. Usually the Week 1 lectures are introductory ones, so they'll tell you about the subject and perhaps start...

UTS Semester 1 2006 Timetables and Subjects

Re: 2006 Timetable and Subjects The attendance mark for MPO is for tutorials only. You can go to any of the lectures provided there is space. Don't worry too much about lecture allocations; just tutorial allocations. The lectures in Week 1 might be full so it's best to go to the one you're...
