If you are struggling with 2 unit, you will probably get a better UAI by doing well in general, than doing poorly in 2 unit. If you manage to do well in general, then the bad scaling shouldn't affect much at all...

What do you mean? Do you mean doe more than one marker mark your work (if so-I also agree with Natstar), or do you mean does one marker will mark the short answer section, then another will mark one essay, then another marker will mark another essay...etc? If so-yes, usually a different marker...

Memorise quotes (not an excessive number...you should only need to remember something like 6 for each essay question, and they don't need to be long), and just practice doing different essay questions, in different text types. Make sure you know exactly how to set out all the text types they can...

I think some UNIs do give in and let extra people in if you ring up and liteally beg, if you only missed out by a few points. It's really at the UNIs deiscretion who they let in or not...I know the published cut off for my course was like 89, and my friend got 86 and just assumed he wasn't gonna...
