Hi, Does anyone study this program? I'd like to know what the hours are like and whether you need to study this program before you can even think about entering the field of biostatistics. What are the job prospects like also? Thanks.

From what I know, it doesn't matter what course you're enrolled in. You just have to do mkgt101 and bba102. But after talking to the staff member who organised that associate membership, there was an indirect recommendation on doing a subbject that you're interested in or that is industry...

I didn't fail fail, but rather I failed to get a credit twice in the subject so I don't get my actuarial exemption coz I needed a credit grade or above. ACST200 is the subject. Don't know how I didn't get my credit second time round and I was dumb enough not to ask them to recheck my mark.

Hey, I can't complete double degree (actuarial/finance) by the end of 2007 (due to repeating too many subjects causing a lack of credit points). So I am now thinking of redoing a subject for the third time because I haven't gained a credit in that subject yet for the actuarial exemptions...

Thanks for that. I just came across the "maximum number of credit points at 100 level -- 30" requirement. So if I really want the double degree, I'll have to try doing two 200 level subjects over next summer after all. Hmmm......
