Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread I was really happy considering the difficulty of the essay questions. Deceptive Trade Practices seems pretty much an expansion of Commercial Law. I dont love Comm Law to be honest. What other electives are you considering? BTW hows Admin?

    Leave of absence

Why dont you just do say 2 subjects at each uni? Or 3 subjects at one uni and 1 at the other. You therefore arent taking a leave of absence. The 3 subject option is better I think because it saves your student concession privileges.

Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread One more question Huratio. A friend of mine's sister is thinking of doing Accounting for Business during Summer. To be honest, her maths would be 2U General Maths. I know people can do that and get by but will UTS run some extra tutoring services...

Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread Biomedical Law only runs for 5 days (8 hrs per day). The best thing about Summer School is that it allows you to do the same material in a short time frame. There is another one that I was considering called Intellectual Property Commercialisation...

    400/500 Law Electives

Hey melsc, I did Labour Law as an elective last semester and I really enjoyed it. That said it is probably one of the areas of law that I would like to practice in, so I had a bit more interest than most people generally would. The subject is pretty good. We would have a 2hr...

Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread Huratio, I much prefer macroeconomics to microeconomics. However, I dont know why I didnt do as well in EFB as I did well in Economics in the HSC. HSC Eco was heavily Macro based which may explain the difference. Anyway, where is malfoy these days?

UTS - Spring 2008 Final Exam Timetable (Finalised!)

Re: UTS - Provisional Spring 2008 Final Exam Timetable (Out Now!) Seriously, I am sure the uni could work out some better arrangement than WNPK. It is in the middle of nowhere and places a bit more stress on getting there on time compared to say UTS Tower. Lucky I can get a lift in some...

UTS - Spring 2008 Final Exam Timetable (Finalised!)

Re: UTS - Provisional Spring 2008 Final Exam Timetable (Out Now!) Hahaha definitely is goan_crazy. I spent 2 years at UTS doing Business. Moved to MQ for 1.5 years to do Law. My degree got fucked around too much at MQ so I came back to UTS to do Business/Law. So pretty much I am just...

2 different unis.. 2 different courses?

You would undertake the single business structure. However, UTS and USYD could help you shorten the degree through exemptions. Best to ask both unis about how it would work.

2 different unis.. 2 different courses?

It can be done. Speak to UTS but my understanding is: (1) Apply for you degree at USYD (2) Get accepted and enter your USYD degree (3) Transfer from Med Sci to Bus Now you need to do bothe degrees concurrently. You could get electives for Business too.

    Summer School Unit price increase!!!!

Thats true, but it wouldn't be full time. Either option has its pro's and con's. Since melsc wants to work as a lawyer, she would need to do College of Laws; so maybe she could finish that a semester earlier. Its a win-win situation really.

Re: The UTS 'Get Naked, Secks and It's nearly VC Week!' Thread I found Economics rather difficult even though I got like 90+ in HSC Economics. With a bigger focus on microeconomics, I struggled. HSC Economics was quite macroeconomics based. Chris Bajada doesnt really fail too many people...

    Summer School Unit price increase!!!!

melsc... If it is the difference between finishing a semester early, I would do a subject or two under FEE Help. Whilst, it is nearly double the HECS rate, it isnt really that much once the payment is deferred. Consider the money that you could make in that 6 months that you would still...
