no not the bases themselves theyre hydrogen bonds, between the base pairs going down so eg: (A - T) | (G - C) | (T - A) these are hydrogen bonds between the complementary bases but do these exist? are there any forces here? and if so what are they?

i was wondering if there are any forces at all between base pairs, i know there are hydrogen bonds between the actual bases eg (A-T) and (C-G) but if there are forces between the actual base pairs diagonally please inform me and what that force is called.

ive only got my 9 preferences for NSW/ACT unis but i want to apply interstate to melbourne and adelaide...do i do it through UAC still or through their own uni websites? does that mean i can only apply for medicine in nsw and then apply on the other website and pay again and apply for the other...
