You know how with HSC there are study guides for different courses - are there any for QMA? Our textbook SUCKS and i'm having trouble grasping/remembering the maths with such a little amount of questions in the tutorial exercises. I know there's pass, but i'd prefer it if I had a book in front...

Ta, but the question specifically says "what are the winners and losers from such intervention"... so does htat mean we're only supposed to be talking about the winners and losers when protection is in place or the opposite?

Are the most effective studying methods similar to HSC methods? For example, should we be making condensed notes on each chapter and revising these before exams? Also, the tutorial questions only require you to know a fraction of what's in each chapter - are they assuming we know all other...

Book pack was in for me... it's called "Intro to mathematical analysis" and comes with a solution book and a question book. The weird thing about it though is that the answers are only to odd numbered questions.... WTF!?!?

I'm probably gonna get some group assignments this week. Hope I can find a group that's mature enough to realise that they're coming to Uni voluntarily to benefit themselves so it's stupid not to just get the job done.

I'm doing FINS1612... MGMT courses are stupid IMO - no one will hire you as a manager off the bat so if you're going to have to work through an organisation's ranks anyway, what's the point of having completely theoretical management knowledge with your degree?

Yep - i'm in Bondi Beach and have to catch two busses. It's not really THAT difficult but it's all about convenience. I don't mind paying a little more $$ if I can save me the hassle.

I spent $440, but granted some of my textbooks were value pack ones I can use for next semester. Either way, $440 for prescribed books is a joke.
