:p You guys didn't even manage to make an impression against our 2nd string last night, at home as well. Hard to see the Hammers win when Gerrard, Kewell, Reina, Alonso etc. all return

    Erm.. Liverpool over Milan?

    Last movie you've seen?

Battleship Potemkin- 'Odessa steps' scene was incredible, and generally quite sophisticated for its time. The music was effective at times, and over the top at others. A few dull mom ents in between the good scenes that were just a bit too easy to tune out. - 7.5/10 Psycho 1960 and 1998 both-...

It's hard to imagine Henry leaving Arsenal if they win the CL, another eery link to Liverpool last year. Pope Benedict should watch his step I say :p

Well done to the Gunners, this year's final promises to be something spectacular regardless of whether Barca or Milan get through. I won't be another Istanbul though :p

Couldn't see the match this morning on account of being in broadband-less Canberra. Very happy to see the result when I got home this morning though. And yes, very silly of Mourniho to use Geremi. Especially puzzling when I hear reports from Scousers that Chelsea were targeting our left.

Having to beat Arsenal at Highbury is a huge task. Spurs are far from 'almost there'. And LOL at Blackburn, beaten by the Brummies. Why oh why didn't I sell Gamst-Pederson earlier

    RAW or DELERIOUS?

Am I the only one who doesn't think Eddie Murphy was ever particularly funny?

I think United would still be much better served buying Diarra for 25m than Riquelme. There's simply no guarantee that a player like Riquelme would succeed in the EPL (*cough* Veron *cough*), and you guys need an enforcer more than you need a playmaker.

    Most. F*cked-up. Ever.

Looking back on this thread now.. I was an idiot to think Oldboy was anything close to being the most fucked up movie ever. Geez, what an idiot.

    V for Vendetta

The most confronting scene, visually, in V was the flashback where the bodies were getting piled up in ditches.

Movie that made a great impression on you

Good choice, one of my favourite scenes from TGTBATU as well. Have you seen much of Leone's other stuff?

    Karaoke!

There's a place on Elizabeth that has the biggest collection of English songs out of all the Sydney K places. Not sure what it's called.. and furniture was somewhat dodge, but good if you're not too familiar with Asian songs like me :p

Gunners held away to Portsmouth. It's now impossible for them to overtake Liverpool, so unless if they win the CL, our place next year is booked. I still see them overhauling Spurs though, Tottenham have a pretty daunting run home.

    lord of the rings thought

I dunno.. I don't think even the most careful of readers can avoid being crushed by the sheer weightlessness of the ennui that's Tolkein.

That's good news for Spurs as far as I'm concerned. The less internationals he plays, the less you have to worry about him sustaining a long term injury. I doubt it'd happen though, surely Campbell's on the scrapheap now.

    What are you currently Reading?

Mostly. I finally got around to reading A Wild Sheep Chase a little while back. I found it to be a bit inconsistent, amazing passages here and there, followed by some of the more tedious prose Murakami's written. I just haven't had much time to sit down and read novels lately. I'm making slow...
