You realise for Q2 (thecreative part) the marking criteria only states that you need to write 400 words right? That means 2 pages of a booklet usually...

Weird disparity with BUSINESS degrees Was just checking out the UAC book - i'm really interested in doing a Business degree at UTS. However, I also noticed a B Business/B Computing combined degree, which looks quite decent as well. The regular business degree requires a 92.05 UAI (2004-cutoff)...

Well, just coming to the end of my trials so gotta start making Uni selections soon. Just after a bit of advice from people who have actually had first hand experience in this sort of stuff. I'm really interested in doing Business/Commerce, and I heard that UTS is the best course for it...

Look at the marking criteria. Historiography is an integral part.

Thanks for taking the time to read it guys. I wanted to think of something original, and since I play games every now and then the idea just sorta popped into my head. I actually didn't do as much research as I probably should have - started it like 2 weeks before due date.

Thanks for that Caractus, glad you liked it. :) Reason I lost the mark was because he said I didn't have total control over the post-modernist stance I adopted (we haven't done it in class yet). Oh well.

Anyone care to let me know what they think of my assignment? I did a pretty far out there topic (video games), which I could've either gotten really bad for or really good for. I ended up getting 24/25, but i'd like some other perspectives if possible.. My focus question was - How do games...

Well, for those that had to hand in their projects early, how'd you go with the marking? Our school marked pretty strict - had our teacher marking as well as another qualified history extension teacher that doesn't teach at our school. I ended up with 24/25, which i'm pretty happy with...

Hey just a quick question... on my assessment task it has "what values are involved in this construction" as one of the criteria. What the hell does this mean? I was assuming that it was asking about different ways of valuing the text, but now i'm not sure. Also, i'm doing a newspaper article...
