    Astrophysics module - question 2.

Thanks for that danger. So in the exam, should i just talk about how changing mass/class etc.... affect the graph and stuff? And for the first dot point, is there anyone who has done it? I dont think many people do astrophysics. :/ Thanks.

    question about complements.

LOL!! I understand it now but reading my posts again and im thinking "WTF was i thinking"? and the 11111111 = 128? lol even when wogboy tried correcting me, i thought he was talking about something else. I think i was drugged or something.....well it was about 1-2am when i was typing all the...

lol you can try the free online version virus scanner http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp And this for trojans: http://www.anti-trojan.net/en/onlinecheck.aspx :)

In msdos try "netstat -a" to see all connections to your computer. Also, you could have some sort of virus or trojan, so try scanning your comptuer for those things.

Thats the E3 beta demo i think. Thats also leaked, its floating around the net. You can play a few levels or something.

    HalfLife 2 Source Code Stolen...

lol i dont think its 1/3 (they're probably lying) but even if it is, its the most important/expensive part of the game. When it was leaked, they said "the entire source tree" but now its 1/3. hmmmm.

Nah that wont work. You still need all the images, sound files, maps etc... for it to even compile.

Now i know what that "signed and unsigned" means in the program. :=)

    question about complements.

I think i got it now. The minute the leading number is '1' it is automatically read as a 2's complement negative number (as SamD said). Now to represent: -128 = 1000000 as wogboy said. to represent +128: I would have to change the binary to 16 bit form: ie "00000000 10000000" -> the...

    question about complements.

Ok heres my problem: +128 = 10000000 and -128 is also (2's complement) = 10000000 according to you. Now, how will the processor know whether its dealing with "-128" or "+128". Thats my problem / question. My brain hurts.

    question about complements.

The program says "signed". And i was asking if by "signed", they meant "2's complement". Cause saying signed is totaly different to saying 2s complement. Heres a quote showing what i mean: from...

    question about complements.

Ahh ok thanks for that: Heres the screenshot which describes what im talking about: Now firstly, by signed, does it mean 2's complement? I would have thought a signed 8 bit integer = 0 to 255 and unsigned = -128 to 127 (what samd said). Ok, so now according to that program, 1111 1111...

    question about complements.

Ok i think i understand what im asking. But ill go step by step so neither me or anyone gets confused. :D Someone answer this, if the binary number 11111111 (8 bit) is sent to the processor, what would it interpret it as?
