For me, if i had to pay any thing less than $70 p/month, it would still turn out cheaper than dialup ($22 p/month). RageRunner: Which ISP is charging $40 for dialup? :D

Not that you will notice the difference. The advantage is it will run allot cooler than having a FSB of 4ghz, which means higher speeds is easier to achieve = faster processor. :D

AMD's future not looking so good.

G5 would probably be more powerfull at graphics designing and stuff but im probably wrong. With the athlon FXs/64s, remember we still havent really seen their 64bit capabilities other than 32 bit based benchmarks. Intel will be releasing their prescot line of processors in december which they...

Intel Pentium 5 CPU Due in Jan 2004

Im kind of exagerating but if it wasn't for AMD pressurring intel from the start (ie when they first released their "athlon" processor), intel wouldnt find the need to release any faster processor. So the "Pentium V" would probaby be years from now and the current P4 prices would be equivalent...

Intel Pentium 5 CPU Due in Jan 2004

I recon if athlon 64s arent a success then AMD will just give up on the desktop market and probably concentrate on server / mobile. Imagine after all these, years of planning and high hopes, the athlon 64's go down. *ouch* If it wasnt for AMD, intel would probably be introducing pentium 4's...
