Wow I want to congratulate everyone who made it in!! Good stuff... For those of you who didn't, never fear! There are plenty more chances to make it next time and to even put yourself up against other propsective med students is no easy task. Good on you all!

wow im surprised you remember even that conversation...must be about 6 months ago now? Anyhows the problem is if I study, I get average results, and if I don't, who knows? I certainly don't want to find out the hard way :p Anyhows, studying is good- makes me feel like a real med student. :)

dont worry you're not expected to know it...yet... see in UNSW they like to broaden your horizons and develop you as a global citizen so they offer you a few subjects outside of your major course of study and which one u pick doesnt have to be related. You can learn basket weaving if you want...

monash is 5 yrs cos we have no gen ed...the reason why some people shun unsw and UMelb. Could be bad or good the way you see it.

I should educate you on the difference between 'nerd' and 'geek'. When you say 'nerd' you should think about Stephen Hawking or Einstein. Someone who is studious and passionate about their acadmics and has a limited social life. 'Geek' on the other hand is some one who has a limited social life...

if u studied hrd during the HSC...you could maintain the same effort in Med and you wouldnt find it too different...but if you're a lazy bum obviously the transition is going to be a little more difficult.
