Religious extremists accuse Coca-Cola of blasphemy

Not really. I just thought the whole thing was funny and decided to echo the title of every other religion-related thread in NCAP for my own amusement.

    Dr President Ron Paul

Re: Doctor President Pon Raul What possible reason could Fox & Friends have for introducing that segment with 'Get This Party Started'? In other news, Ron Paul is a loony.

That documentary would be Heaven on Earth, yeah? The one the ABC plays occasionally? I think it could be quite a good topic, although you'd probably need to alter it to make it more historical in focus. Maybe the causes of the decline in traditional socialism that we saw in the second half of...

    Subjects 2008

I actually chose ANHS2608 on the basis of your review of it. It sounds quite awesome. I hear that Peter Brennan is retiring, so Lyn Olson will be the only one taking the course. As for HSTY2618, I'm a little unsure because the handbook doesn't say who's teaching it. I might end up replacing it...

    Laptops for Uni

Re: Do you use a often laptop at uni? Or will you? Don't need one. Exercise book + pen is fine for lectures, and I write my essays on my pc at home. If I really need a computer at uni - like if I'm late on an assessment or something - I just use one of the computer labs.

    BA/BSci vs. BAS

Those are basically the only differences. You can do more stuff in the BA/BSc, but it also takes years longer. The BAS also has some pointless core units in the first year.

    Global Studies & Socio-Legal : Course Outlines?

I don't actually do socio-legal, although I know someone who does. She hated it with a passion, but then again she was never interested in law and only did it because her degree (Arts and Sciences) forced her to. But it was pretty easy apparently, she got distinctions without much effort.

    Rudd's cabinet

Hooray, someone competent in Foreign Affairs. But what's 'human services', and why is it an individual cabinet position? It sounds like some crappy minor ministry.
