2007 Federal Election - Coalition or Labor/Howard or Rudd?

The new Senate will (probably) be: 37 Coalition 1 Family First 1 Nick Xenophon 5 Greens 32 Labor So if the Coalition opposes a piece of legislation, Labor will need the Greens, Xenophon and Family First to pass it.

2007 Federal Election - Coalition or Labor/Howard or Rudd?

Two more bits of foreign media: The Economist has one of its online correspondents' diaries which will be updated throughout the week, and CFR.org has an analysis of the increasing influence of immigrants in Australian politics. 2007 Federal Election - Coalition or Labor/Howard or Rudd?

2007 Federal Election - Coalition or Labor/Howard or Rudd?

Probably, yeah. Although there have been occasional rumblings all year about the possibility of North Sydney falling.

2007 Federal Election - Coalition or Labor/Howard or Rudd?

A poll in North Sydney says the electorate 2PP is 50-50. (That's Joe Hockey's seat where he's being challenged by Mike Bailey.)
