    ok i did my research.... ppl who did well (band 6) in 4U maths, chemistry and physics only...(the non-english techy ppl) got >99.1, all u need to improve and get 99.4+ is to get another band 6 in 2 units...its daunting that only 2 units (in this case english for me) can stuff up your high 99...

    Say for UAI's of 98 and above how well would you have to go? And 99? Obviously I'm not going for the 100 cos they require high 90s for all units, but say I got high 80s for english, high 90s for extension 2 maths low 90s for physics and chem and engineering? Would really love to get 99.3+

    and on your point of litmus, it doesnt necessarily have to be in paper form, litmus is actually a liquid derived by boiling the litmus lichen in water.... what they then do is add a little sulfuric to make red litmus solution, and the paper form u are acquainted with is essentially normal paper...

    1. yes toods is right 2. molar heat of combustion if heat energy liberated or absorbed when one mole of a chemical undergoes a given rxn.... plain 'heat of combustion' is same as above except in terms of the given quantity....so it doesnt necessarily have to be moles

    hey laz can u outline the significant diferences between the two advanced science programs? The greatly higher UAI cutoff for USYD suggests that the competitionis greater, hence better teachign, and quality of graduates?
