UNSW gave me 8 for popular courses and 9 for anything else. Thank goodness! that'll give me plenty of room to get into the course i want. :) Would like an offer from USYD but an a little worried about my chances with the Broadway Scheme.

Well, here in Australia, we have seen season 1, 2 and the 1st 8 episodes of season 3. So the episode on next Wednesday will be the 9th episode of the 3rd season. I'm not sure where America are up to, though.

I know, I can't wait!!! Finally a decent TV show is back on. :)

Those results are good! Don't be too disappointed, it is only the 1st semester. Plus, that's the beauty of yr 11- We can make all the mistakes we want this year and they won't matter. All we can do is learn from them.

We did the Archaelogical evidence topic too. I hated that topic! It was so boring... not a lot of interesting content.

We are currently learning about Otzi the Iceman. We just finished Tutankhamun. What about you guys? Same. For exams, if you know your stuff you'll be right. Assignments have a lot more work involved.

Those topics are really good ones! *quickly writes them down to have a look into* I need to choose my topic by next week and my teacher isn't letting anyone in our class have the same topics... All the good ones have already been taken, so I was kind of stuck... until now :)

Same here. My school doesn't have half-yearly exams in yr 11 either. Instead they give lots of assignments and in class assessments. I think I would rather a half-yearly than a million other assessments with less weighting. I got my report last week. I'm happy with most of my rankings...

Wow I haven't posted on here for a while... I've got to choose my ancient historical investigation topic too. How about doing Agrippina- a very controversial Roman Empress. There's a lot on her and you can take the investigation many ways. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agrippina_the_Younger

I'm enjoying yr 11 heaps more! Although I have more hw, i don't mind doing it because it's for the subjects that i want to study.

Last night we where given a booklet that lists all assessments that we have this year. In total I have 30 this year! 30! To make it worse, they all occur in 1-2 week clumps. So I'm not happy at the moment. :(

Yeah, I'm studying Othello as well. I found this site really helpful in getting my head around the language.

I've been to both. They are both very different places. I think I prefered LA over Hawaii because there is a lot more to do there- you have Beverley Hills, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Disneyland, plus it's a very lively place and you'll never get bored. Hawaii on the other hand is less lively...

I think that applies to senior science, not to EES. I have a friend who is doing EES and Chemistry.

My school usually runs either Senior science or EES, they never used have enough interest in those two to be able to run both, that is until to my year came along...
