    I hope I get it. I got a UAI of 79.00 and I applied for Nursing at Hawkesbury, which has a cutoff of 64.25. Since they are allocating extra scholarships to high need courses including nursing, do you think I still have a chance? I really could do with some extra money since me or my parents...

    I think that general maths is ok since 2U isn't really practical or applicable to nursing.

    nurses needs maths to work out medication doses so yes it is important but it is pretty basic maths. You don't need to know trigonometry or calculus or anything.

    anyone is allowed to repeat the HSC if they want to. Quite a few people do it so that they can get better marks.

    SAM said 82.90..............but unfortunately I went down 3.90!!! I got 79. :vcross: I wish I would've been in the eighties at least. It doesn't matter though because I should get into nursing at UWS.
