I personally wouldn't go anywhere near BMedSc due to the lack of as many career options as is associated with the BAdvSc degree. If you go into graduate medicine and desire to mostly practise, then either degree will be adequate. However, keep in mind that for BMedSc, your first year subjects...

i'm not sure about the way it works at ANU, but an average of 95 anywhere will be tough - some courses don't even allow for a mark of 95 due to scaling. An average of 95 is a tough assignment.

Yeh that's what I thought about the med place security thing, which influenced my move back to UNSW. But then I realised that you need to sacrifice things to get where you want to, and I was prepared to put lose the security to pursue research as well to become the doctor I wanted to be. Btw...
