Yep, we share the lectures, except for some "special" adv lectures on some Fridays. The pracs are different with the stupid adv course having only the 1 timeslot for pracs - 2-5 on Mondays.

Performance in english advanced exams hardly determines whether one communicates effectively or not. Scoring well in adv eng is more dependent on whether a.) your point of view is endorsed by the marker of your exam and b.) whether you have been spoonfed the kinds of words that flag an "A"...

The whole skill associated with HSC maths exams is negating those careless errors - pretty much everything is doable, but minimising careless errors while rushing through the papers is the key.

After first semester, I've concluded that 80 YAM isn't too high, and achievable with work ethic and some intelligence. :)
