Burnt out and failed my hsc, need options

You can do your HSC at TAFE. Apparently it's also a lot less stressful to do it that way as there aren't so many assessment tasks. The HSC is not really valid if you go on to higher qualifications, but if you feel it's worthwhile doing, that is one option you could take.

    lol. A noble cause indeed.

    songs that turn you off

I love most of the above songs :( Basically anything that can be in any way compared with the musical prowess and talent of soulja boy (ie none at all) is a massive turn off. Also really bad country music. Massive turn-off.

    expelled = ?

Look daddy I made an intelligent remark! p.s. I hope you don't get expelled, because that would majorly suck. But if you do get 'asked to leave,' you can most likely transfer to a public school. Your parents are right to be mad at you though since they fork out the cash to...

    burnt out

Taking days off once in a while are really helpful with this. Either you go out and do something you enjoy, or you stay at home, mooch around in your trackies and eat icecream for breakfast, or you use the time to sleep. Works wonders. If you set aside a day when you're allowed to do this, you...

Robert Frost's "the road not taken" HELP

OP: There was one point in there: that the roads are "identical," which isn't really... correct. One of the major points of this poem is that at the time of making the decision, Frost saw them as completely different roads and perceived that one was worn down more than the other. But then in...

    So what do i do?

Two girls in my year turned 16 in the second half of the HSC year. You're not THAT young, love. edit: I didn't turn 18 till the year after everyone else but I still managed to enjoy myself. If all your friends don't do anything but clubbing, they will get very bored, very quickly. Also...

    The Beijing Olympics

Re: Boycott of Olympics Let us hope they sacrifice ACA, TodayTonight, It's Academic and Home & Away to the olympic coverage. This will surely meet the criteria of working for the common good.

Ask not what your arteries can do for you, but ask what you can do for your arteries

As far as my knowledge extends, people who have a tendency towards high cholesterol can cut down their cholesterol by eating less, but people who eat a lot (of the bad kind) don't neccessarily end up with abnormally high levels. It's not exactly as simple as "you are what you eat." You might as...

    The Beijing Olympics

Re: Boycott of Olympics Almost the entire history of the modern olympic games has been riddled with politics. It's about time we had a break from it. There are more contructive ways of making something happen than boycotting an event which is meant to promote worldwide peace and unity. Anyway...

Taking Drinks into the exam room??????

This is why the rule is there now. OP, you need to follow the exam rules, as even though you're not trying to cheat, some other person is guaranteed to be. Fot the actual HSC exams, they will check your stuff as you bring it into the hall. For my maths exam I accidentally left a pedometer in my...

    Unemotive lines of a poem

you could... type up a bit of it? The general answer would be that the poet doesn't wish to express particular interest or involvement in the situation. But the answer changes depending on the poet/poem. That said, who is the writer?

    integration question

OP: please clarify sin(x^0) If you mean x degrees, you should never, ever write it like that [sin(x^0)] on the net because it means x to the power of 0. You can just use words.
