    Economics Half yearly

Hi-5, I'm screwed for topic 1 too!! :) Yes, you can rote learn these bullet points but if your half yearly includes stuff like BOPs/exchange rates/economic growth etc., spend time on those as they're very conceptual and there are plenty of links with other topics. They're also likely to be...

URGENT :/ What technique is this?

Also, how would you use "vernacular" in a sentence? Is it correct to say that "the juxtaposition of his sophisticated vernacular with his friend's vulgar vernacular is reflective of e.g. the mismatch between the two"? I really need a better way to frame this into a sentence lol

URGENT :/ What technique is this?

"The blackbirds sung their nursery rhyme songs to their children" What technique is this? It's likening the bird sounds of the blackbirds with 'human' music (for lack of a better description) Metaphor? Simile? Parallelism? Something else?

    Need a some help!

^Wait, isn't asyndeton the omission of conjuctions? Okay, I'm hopeless at interpreting poetry but here are a few techniques used: enjambment, metaphor (her car ride), sensory imagery (olfactory, auditory i.e. smell and sounds) has been used to depict the atmosphere here etc.
