Haha, our parents must have shared notes, mine used the wooden spoon too! If she was particularly annoyed her weapon of choice was the plastic spoon.

    Tort of deceit (of paternity?)

As long as that's the case I have no real objections to the decision. You'd think though that a remedy for deceit in this respect would exist at common law instead of statute.

How do you do a BMedSci WITHOUT Having Previously Done any Sciences?

Well... I did the bridging course, it's worth going to, but there is so little to teach that they end up teaching some of the stuff (on a simpler level) that you'll be doing during the semester. HD average in law

Generally law subjects are bell curved, and you'll find that to get a HD you need to be in top 2% or so of your year group. Even at universities like UWS the top group of students in law would be very capable. Work hard and see what you get, but don't expect to even get one high distinction.

That doesn't mean that I can't try! Besides, there isn't a summer clerk program in Canberra, so if you're lucky you can get into firms with Canberra offices like Minter Ellison and government departments in your second or third year. A friend of mine got a summer job at DFAT in his second year.
