Which trial papers are usually the most difficult?

That's what a lot of people think because things turn out different when you physically sit an exam under time pressure and know it's the real deal. I have yet to see any high school paper come close to bos trial level difficulty. Even Sydney Grammar doesn't come close. When you actually sit the...

    Trig question

    \text{I would just start with the RHS and expand it using the formulas on the formula sheet} \sin(a + b) = \sin a \cos b + \cos a \sin b \sin(a - b) = \sin a \cos b - \cos a \sin b \text{The result follows trivially}

    SATs and US institutions

Wow man the entry requirements for international students are much higher than for domestic students. My cousin got into MIT and she had a really good SAT score and a few competitions but nothing close to olympiad level or anything.

Don't know what to do after going WAY over the world limit in essay.

I would get it to at the most 1300 words because I think most schools have a 100 word extra limit. Best idea is to ask your teacher if it is acceptable...

    Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread

Schools do loan laptops and stuff which the government provides iirc, and you can just go to the library for Internet. They probably have something else if you can’t afford internet as well in the case there are no libraries

Life as a Civil Engineer Project Manager

Imo you’re looking too far into the future. Don’t have your eyes set on just one position because that will severely narrow any other amazing options you may be offered. Either way imo first focus on becoming a civil engineer and then ask these questions again when you do gain that experience...

    I don't know what I want to study :(

Do you enjoy it? What is the reason you don't see a future in it? Is it the lack of jobs, or the pay, or that you don't enjoy it THAT much etc etc..?? What's the specific reason because it makes a world of difference as to what would be the best choice.

    Tutoring with the Pathways Model

Isn't Pathways where you just spread your subjects over two or more years? If I'm not mistaken why would tutors need to teach in 'alignment' of it? because tutors teach whatever subject you want so you can go to a tutor one year for one subject and another tutor for another subject the year after.

Is Dux College better than PEAK?

Well I've never heard of PEAK all my life but I've heard of DUX many times and many people say it's good. I guess that counts for something.

Thoughts on Project Management combined with Civil Engineering?

I would say definitely much more important. Your career is in Engineering as a whole so I would say don't even bother with a Masters in project management..

Thoughts on Project Management combined with Civil Engineering?

Probably because it shows you have the skills needed. However I would say they would consider other factors such as how well you actually worked in a lower level job as much or even more than that degree.

It works exactly how they said it. Your mark doesn't matter how high, it won't be used as part of your WAM. They said they would account for prerequisites and what not for a course that requires a certain grade or for an honors year that requires a certain WAM etc..
