    Cycling on the Road

Depends on the cop, if they got some last night, etc. Can book you for passing on the left or something. Sometimes run crackdowns, there was one a bit before christmas if I remember correctly. Either way, if cops are around, no silly buggers is the rule I go by. Kwayera, you say you treat...

Why do governments give young people a hard time?

P plate laws and zero tolerance on speeding don't necessarily relate to burdening the young I don't think, more related to average joes inability to comprehend that going 5 over the limit doesn't mean you will spontaneously combust into a huge ball of flame and go over a cliff. If they were...

    Most ANNOYING things when Driving

As far as I know cyclists are allowed to take up a lane and ride two abreast. The shoulder often is full of crap and is not fun or safe to ride in. Of course, a little courtesy would not go astray on their side, but if they don't move over you going apeshit over it isn't going to make them...

    Uneven muscles, how to fix?

Yeah no. If you are that worried about being uneven (which as people have said, is not uncommon) then dumbells are the way to go as each arm will have to support x amount of weight. With a barbell, the stronger side compensates.

    Most ANNOYING things when Driving

120 on a 3+ lane motorway is hardly hooning. In keeping with thread title, people who speed up in order to stop you merging from on ramps and fuckers who don't indicate or headcheck.

    Cycling on the Road

If you stay aware of your surroundings and don't act like a douche (running reds because you're a bicycle = douche, etc) you will be taking the biggest steps for safety imo. Make sure to keep a tyre repair kit and all that good stuff on you. If you do travel on the footpath and it has...

    Bike gear

You can spend as much or as little on gear as you want, really. If you are going to be pushing it (weekend/fun work as main focus) then defo get a pair of boots with ankle protection. If I'm commuting but not at peak hour times, I just wear regular shoes. I also just wear normal jeans, but...

Clover Moore proposes 3am lockout for ALL NSW licensed premises: no exceptions

    Anyone here do strength training?

Dumbells are harder to bench than a barbell. Adding the two dumbells together isn't a realistic estimate of his barbell bench lol. Either way the guy is strong but not freakishly so.

ITT: we motivate each other to exercise and keep at it!

Soy is all fine and dandy for women but it messes with testosterone in guys, lowers your test and bumps up your estrogen or something like that. As long as his lifts are going up and he isn't putting on excess bodyfat, if his diet works for him then fantastic. Gotta eat big to get big.

Which motorcycle should I modify? (warning: image heavy)

Sorry but I am unclear on one point - are you going for a cafe racer, or will this actually be used for track/twisty work? If you plan on using it for honest to goodness tracking or twisty work have you considered an rgv250 or rs250? I only know of one guy who races a vtr250, he runs (from...

    Motorcycle Talk Thread

I think bumping up eligible bikes for P2 to encompass some more powerful models would be a reasonable compromise. Don't really have any suggestions as to how it could be implemented though. I do know that I will feel a lot safer on a bigger bike next year, having the acceleration there if you...

    Motorcycle Talk Thread

3 years on a 250 would be pretty unbearable... when I'm on fulls next year I will have been riding the 250 for 2 years, and I have been wanting something more capable for a while now. I guess Honda will sell a lot more 400's though.
