Why do you want to know about this? It is an Entrance Exam used to obtain admission into universities in India known as the IIT's. There's two papers main and advanced and they compromise of Maths, Chemistry and Physics as far as I'm aware of.

Of course you can. Although you most likely won't need to. As said before the questions are designed so the best way to do them is the way that's been taught.

I have no idea how you can find long responses hard. There is nothing to long responses. All you have to do is memorize and regurgitate the Sam D textbook. That is literally what I did lol and it gave me a good mark as well. Most students will find algorithms the hard bit but I have yet to meet...
