Stress Management

    Chill out, eat good food, listen to music you enjoy and get heaps of sleep. If you want to hit stress at the root of the cause then start preparing for everything ahead of time so that once you get there you're ontop of it and it's all good.

    Transformers!!

    Perhaps it was naive of me but I came in here hoping that you were talking about that old-school cartoon (or at least the physics of it). Alas, it was not to be.

    3 unit polynomial question

    (a +1)(b +1)(c +1) =(ab +a +b +1)(c +1) = abc +(ab +bc +ca) + (a + b + c) +1 then using the values gained from summing the roots of P(x)= x3 -x2 +4x - 1 = 1 +(4) + (1) +1 =7

    help please, a number of questions

    Ok, cool. Well what you're doing is summing 2-d circular segments around the x-axis instead of 1-d strips. The radius of each circular segment is of course your y value which gives us π∫y2dy and the integral is (between 2/3 and 3) π∫(3x-1)2/3dx ...

    Medicine question concerning Science/Medicine - 3821

    One month later... After some thinking I've decided that this would actually be a really good option and the BA/MBBS seems to be what I'm shooting for. If they let me in I'd be doing philosophy (something I've been wanting to study) as the List A major with as much math as I could fit around...

    Difficult 3u questions, HELP!!!

    (tanx +tan2x) ( cotx + cot3x)= 4 I'm going to deal with it in brackets 'cause of the size of it... here it goes. Left hand bracket (of LHS) = sinx//cosx + (2sinxcosx)//(2cos2x -1) =(2sinxcos2x -sinx +2sinxcos2x)//cosx(2cos2x - 1) =...

    A multiple choice question that has me stumped...

    1020 mL of water is added to 240 mL of a 0.12 mol L<sup>-1</sup> no. moles present = 0.12 x 0.24 = 0.0288 mol number of litres in new solution = 1.02 + 0.24 = 1.26L so mol L<sup>-1</sup>= 0.0288/1.26 = 0.022857142.... mol L<sup>-1</sup> rounded to 3 d.p. its 0.023 mol L<sup>-1</sup>...

    I have similar leanings to you in terms of math, quantum mechanics, nuclear physics etc. all of which I would like to study. But I want an enjoyable and rewarding career and, given my interests, medicine seems to top them all (I also want people contact). I just wish there was a quality combined...
