    What school do you dislike?

There's really just one logical answer to this personally. Any ranked higher than my own for reasons that are self-explanatory.

How important do you think is the knowledge you learn from year 7-10..

Personally, I reckon it's probably best to have a gradual yet consistent rise academically and pretty much hit your peak around the half-yearlies in Yr 12. It works well in theory...

    Define "growing up"

Agreed. But I also reckon it involves realizing: "Shit, I had a pretty sweet deal before..."

    Very Sad !!

Alternatively, come 1st in every subject and don't give a damn about those below you.

    Holidays...

Attempting to do work and then subconsciously (albeit momentarily) convincing myself that I know it all and have no need to worry. :D

Tips, Tricks and Advice for the HSC

Try making the whole exam process (i.e. studying, etc.) almost detached and methodical. Limit displays of emotion.

    ATAR Estimate?

Still, constant validation and encouragement can't hurt...

    ATAR Estimate?

I agree with you completely. :uhhuh:

    ATAR Estimate?

Yeah, thanks for that. I was actually hoping you'd answer the question seeing as you seem to know a lot about this stuff from the other "ATAR estimate" threads I had a look at. Awesome Byakuya avatar btw.

    ATAR Estimate?

My year is really small, about 35 students and our school was ranked around #350 (%: 4.40) and our highest ATAR was 97.55. These are my current ranks: Ad English 1/10 Ext 1 English 1/2 Ext 2 English 1/2 Ancient History 1/4 Biology 1/4 Chemistry...

    Extension Two Word Limit Loopholes?

I've got a bit of problem with my MW. I've chosen the critical response medium but I also have a combination of creative aspects as well (i.e. short story). So my question is: Is my MW confined to the 5000-6000 words of the Critical Response Medium or can I claim that because it is...

Who can't wait for school to be over?

I can wait. In fact, I really enjoy school right after we've finished exams or a series of assessments; its quite relaxed...

    sleep

Well I maintain that it is physically impossible for me to fall asleep anytime before 11-11:30. Usually get up at around 7:30. Apparently the human body works best when sleep occurs in 90 minute cycles; i.e. 7.5 hours or 9 hours would be better than the conventional 8 hours.

    lol hsc

Personally, I reckon the HSC has way too much hype surrounding it. Choose subjects that you have a natural flair for, study from time to time before exams, study harder right before exams, convince yourself that you will remember what is you studied harder for and hope you get a reasonable marker.

Hours of Study Per Day do you do?

No timetable, its pretty arbitrary. I.e. "I should probably do some Maths revision now..." In terms of hours, there really is nothing to do from Monday to Thursday apart from school work.

    Music while you study.

Personally, it works really well while doing Maths. English = epic fail with music. Background/ambient music pretty good for the sciences I reckon.

Does anyone think they messed up choosing subjects?

I wouldn't say messed up but if I had my time over, I would have probably chosen to do Economics simply because of the whole financial crisis drama.

    Post your results here...

We've had to do several assessments, about 6 or 7 I reckon. Lowest mark 95%. Still perfect in Chemistry and 4 units of English.

How many students in the state...

Not really sure how much in terms of the state but I think for everyone, some subjects don't feel like study at all whereas with others you're pretty much just "clock-watching" the entire time. But hours of study do not necessarily equate to awesome results; personally I only reckon I do well...
