Dunno. in Ruse, the marks are REALLY tight, so they can't do it based on marks, but rather on ranks. And you do get ranked by surname. So if your sruname starts with Z (common), and you get the same as someone whose surname starts with Y (also common), they get ranked higher than you. But...

MathAid doesn't, and tbh it has helped me drawing simple diagrams etc. When you're moving onto more complex stuff however, it's merely a good ruler.

I'd keep it. I always keep my marks unless they're shockingly off. A few marks here or there wont' hurt, and every mark is vital for HSC. Sorry for my lack of morals, but you'll forget about it soon enough it will mean a lot in your HSC.

Eco assignment - 15.5/20, but it doesn't count for anything. Eco tests - 21/25 and 25/28. English - 5-6 paragraphs have been handed in, only comments and criticism, no marks. Chemistry - Tests: 11/20 and 28/36, but they don't count either. Nothing that I've done has counted for anything...
