Haha epic. All of the creative writing lecturers are pretty ace. Shady and Alan especially. They're just a little crazy though.

I haven't read that one but I have read nearly all of his short stories. I much prefer those to his novels to be honest, he's better in a condensed form I think.

Not a fan of Dickens. I've started it a few times but always put it down in favor of something else. I much prefer reading work from the last hundred years or so (the modernists onward) unless it's poetry.

Haunted is awesome. My favorite of his. I had to read it for a class but after awhile I really got into it. Which is a good thing because if you don't like it, it can be a hard slog.

I'm just proud that I got through Ulysses in less than a year :p.

Both are fantastic books. Why are you reading them at the same time? I'm working my way through the short stories of Joyce in Dubliners and have just started "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd. Looks simple and fun.

Easily. It's only Monday 9:30 to 12:30 Thursday 9:30 to 6:30 I'd actually prefer to do it that way. Plus my classes are only 3 hours face to face and two of my lectures clash although both lecturers are lovely people who will be providing me with notes provided I alternate attendance.
