    Teen's plea on morning-after pill

The oral contraceptive pill is not that freaking bad. Why would so many women be on it if it was that terrible for you? From Wiki:

    Teen's plea on morning-after pill

It's still cheaper to use two forms of contraception when you compare it to the cost of A) an abortion or B) a baby. Condom+pill=next to no chance of getting pregnant.

On Saturday night it was vodka + head + my driveway = badness. I'm annoyed I missed it but glad I got to see Stars earlier in the week.

    Plagiarism in the 2007 Paper!!!

And you know what, that's usually okay. However, this is because it's normally a simple definition or brief explanation, not slabs of regurgitated crap. When it's more than four or five sentences, you're in trouble because it's more about saying what they said because you don't understand it. I...

    Plagiarism in the 2007 Paper!!!

The onus is on the student to do their homework, formulate their own ideas and present them in an exam, regardless of the question. The examiner is not being tested here, the student is. Regurgitating what someone else said is normally a sign that you actually don't understand what they're...

    Plagiarism in the 2007 Paper!!!

An idiotic opinion. Yes, memorise everything and regurgitate it so you don't have to have a single original thought. Learning isn't about memorisation kiddies. Get that through those thick, prepared essay crammed, skulls of yours.

    Plagiarism in the 2007 Paper!!!

Let me be a little more eloquent. In an exam your knowledge of a certain subject is tested. Regurgitating what you learnt from a textbook is not your knowledge, it is someone else's. All it does is demonstrate that you are able to memorise. Now does that make sense?

    First day impressions?

I loved the first day back. It was actually nice to be back at uni and actually doing stuff. Plus I love my classes this semester. Also, it was nice/fucking annoying to have some random person ask me if I was okay and if I needed directions when I was standing near UniBar smsing on my phone...

    Does anyone write poetry?

Hahaha no. I've been plagiarized before and I don't particularly like putting my work out on the web anymore.

    Does anyone write poetry?

I do. Not in the "I'm really upset and as such need to vent a lot of random crap" way, though that's certainly valid. More in the "I'm an elitist fuck who is doing a Creative Writing major and writes poetry that is less about emotion and more about language". I call the former "private poetry"...

post up your itunes top 25

I've had a bunch of those songs on repeat the past few months when I've been taking five hour train journeys to uni. So it is mostly newer stuff which is fine with me because in a few months half of that list will be replaced :)
