Hey,
Would anyone be kind enough to post a solution to this ODE?
2*ex+(dy/dx)*(1-ex)*tan(y)=0
The answer given is sec(y)=C(e^x-1)^2
I was thinking about taking this course during the summer break. Anyone here know if it's any good? I am particularly interested in how it compares to GEBT0604. This is Phil2002 "ways of reasoning."
Does anyone know about this diploma, such as how do you enrol in it?
I am specifically interested in how it compares to the biotech. innovation degree at UTS with a diploma of scientific practice.
Also when I looked up the biotechnology program at UNSW, I only found the four year honours...
I have decided to study science and philosophy, as philosophy will be a broad area which will hopefully make me more employable. I also plan to specialise in the biological sciences - which uni would be the best for this?
I've only heard about ANU's philosophy department being the best in...
I was wondering if this combination is possible - it doesn't seem to be in their brochure.
On a related note, how does the quality of the science faculty stack up against the Sydney universities (specifically UTS).
I'm fairly sure that the economics degree is world class - have I been...
Are the nanotechnology and biotechnology innovation degrees structured like double degrees or do the business subjects replace some of the science ones?
Which would have the better career prospects?
Which university offers this course? How do you apply and what job prospects are there? Or is it better to get a double major - is anyone doing this course?
Or biology/philosophy.
Thanks in advance...
Has anyone done a pamphlet on telling the truth - Frontline? If so, would you be able to post it (I'm assuming it was done on a computer) - if not any ideas on design etc.?
P.S. I am just not very creative not 'just' lazy...
What happened to the www.newhsc.schools.nsw.edu.au site? I saw it in the HSC study from Edassist - which was 2 years old - did this site combine with another site or change name - or have I got the url wrong?
It's just that as a comment there was written that this site has the entire content...
Can someone explain why the holes move slower than the electrons (in doped semiconductors). I understood the hole movement as perceived movement - relative to the electrons, so how can this be true if the holes move slower:(
Which of his books have you read - if multiple; which was your favourite and why?
I have only read 'the consolations of philosophy' and half of 'status anxiety' - I plan to get 'the art of travel' and 'how Proust can change your life' because he writes so damn well. He has this wonderful...
Could someone explain how the study of blackbody radiation lead to quantum theory - it is obvious from E=hf that energy is in multiples of h and :. quantised but how does this relate to blackbody radiation?
I know about 15% of the students sitting the Mathematics exam achieve a band 6 but what is the percentage if all of the 2U people were removed?
EDIT: All those remaining would be extension one students - those sitting the 2U and 3U exams - that is not counting the 2U students.
Sorry...
I was wondering if there are many job opportunities in this field - (research for post grad etc.) - in particular evolutionary psychology (which is all that really interests me about biology)
Explaining human behaviour through evolution has always appealed to me, and I'm just curious if such a...
How do you write up summaries for economics? Do you follow the dot points or what exactly? I find it hard to summarise under dot points in ecos - unlike in science - because they seem vague to me. Would it be better to just get the Leading Edge workbook instead of doing summaries - and essays of...
Who has heard/read (transcripts of) Richard Feynman's lectures - did you find them useful?
What other famous lectures are applicable to the HSC physics course - that are freely available *cough* file-sharing *cough*
What are the social benefits of income inequality (if any)? I know the economic benefits (incentives to move further away for more money, become more educated/better trained etc.)
There are many, many social costs - just can't think of benefits -help:D ...
What courses etc. do you have to do to become a psychiatrist; must you be a medical doctor and a psychologist?
