Hey I just wanted to say that it's good to compare yourself to others sometimes but what may work for them may not work for you so don't feel discouraged if they've done 100000 hours this holidays and you feel like you haven't done enoughHi! Hows everyones summer study going? I haven't done much and I feel kinda guilty about it, so i wanna know where everyone else is at so i can try to utilise whatever time is left.
How long do you study every day? What have you completed from x subject? How much of the year's content have you completed? Thank you
bro idek i got so mad cuz stuff wasnt working and my goofy ass chair just broke cuz i sat on it too roughly and and leaned back a bitBro how did you break a chair
thsc and acehsc for past papersHi, anyone know any websites or resource from where I can access more Math questions? I've finished all the textbook questions and I have a Math test (55 marks) coming up sooo need to prepare for that
Should I just re do the textbook questions for that chapter?
Thanks
ohhh yeah ur right ur actually good at ipt iirc, and SEND ME THE VIDEO HAHHAHAi wanna so bad cuz of the assignment that peice of shit i literally broke my chair cuz i was so pissed (omg lemme send u the video) but i think im good at it and my teacher would spontaneously combust if i dropped lol
home prob easier/more effective … look at ‘two column notetaking’ and ‘priming’HELLO,
I personally think my active note taking skills are quite weak any tips for taking notes activley in the classroom? Any overall note taking tips?
Is this technique even 'worth it', like is it actually effective or is taking textbook notes at home easier or more effective?

i only took notes in physics, english and software, but tbh it would just be drawing up whatever examples were being explained or the basic defintions + anything subtle that my teacher would say out loud that wasnt necessarily in the textbook. overall id say just dont take notes for everything super obvious detail that you know is in the textbook anyway, just jot down the main points or any additional things that might be important that the textbook doesnt really elaborate onHELLO,

Personally, I tend to purely listen in class and ask questions. It helps if you do your notes at home, as well as pre-readings, so that class time is just for consolidation and understanding any knowledge gaps that you have, allowing you to address potential weaknesses early.HELLO,

Differentiation and Geometrical Application of DifferentiationWhat's your test on?
All parts? ie curve sketching, optimisation, rates of change graph qns, derivative to primitive conversions graphically?Differentiation and Geometrical Application of Differentiation
Yeah but some of it was a part of the hand-in so we probably won't have that in the test...All parts? ie curve sketching, optimisation, rates of change graph qns, derivative to primitive conversions graphically?
Usually the parts that are in the hand-in are not in the test at all, but it's still good to have some knowledge. When I had my hand-in, none of the content that it covered was in the test, so invest more time on topics that weren't covered in the hand-in.Yeah but some of it was a part of the hand-in so we probably won't have that in the test...
Hmm, yes thanks I'll focus on those parts thenUsually the parts that are in the hand-in are not in the test at all, but it's still good to have some knowledge. What textbook are you using?
If you’re looking for more questions, I’d say just go through Trial Papers. As someone who went through the worry of running out of questions, let me stress this… you won’t. One of the advantages with Mathematics is that it has such an abundance of past papers that you probably will never get through all of them.Hmm, yes thanks I'll focus on those parts then
New Senoir Mathematics
Okay thanks for the reassurance @AsuTeksu, I was worrying about running out or not having enough to prepare for Trials if I look at them now XD!If you’re looking for more questions, I’d say just go through Trial Papers. It’s up to you whether you start with older papers or newer papers or even a mix of the two. Past papers, especially Trial Papers, will always be your best bet since they can prepare you for any curveballs you might get in your class test.
