I'm sure you can work that one out PM :)

It involves watching it, and deleting it (or in your case, you might want to store it somewhere, under your bed, or something :p).

Well since you have 19GB of porn, that explains it.

Not true, your imagination is running wild. The pings are very different :p

How different? ;)

Cable: 10-20ms off UNSW, when I last played/hosted any games.
ADSL: 20-25ms off 3FL, according to some gamers.

There's only a 5-15ms difference between maximum (and minimum) values.

I'm sure you can live with a 5ms difference, or even 15ms! :)

deviant: Yay! Naruto!

Psycho*: (On the first page) $1 now? Why are they charging at all? How do they expect to measure it? What about if, say, some sap leaves his funky new wireless router wide open and the resident wardrivers sponge off his connection? They're extra users after all...

In 1999 it was $10 per PC. Then it became $11 with the introduction of the GST. They're probably relying on the more 'honest' customers (unknowingly) paying the extra fee for every additional computer on the network. You can always set up NAT and, as you have suggested, I'll be setting up a Wireless (802.11g) network hopefully after xmas and during the New Year. The ADSL Modem itself doubles as a router but I'm going to need the Access Point anyhow (Netgear).

It'll be pretty cool, as the Xbox should have wireless connectivity in the future (wireless NICs), then I'll be able to stream files across the LAN, wirelessly (and also, I could allow Internet connectivity for the Xbox, so Live! will work too). :shy:

I'll feel sorry for the guy who leaves an open wireless connection or has an insecure WEP. Go the wardrivers :uhoh:

I was in the same situation. I was paying the $10 (then $11) for a few months until I decided that I could rort it myself, LOL. :uhoh: Now I'm only paying the standard fee, but I should be disconnecting, I don't even use it anymore (even with the fancy new plans, it doesn't compell me to stay, with 10GB and uncapped, I'm a patient person :)).

I do have a PS2, I bought the PS2 in 2001 when GT3 (A-Spec) came out and it's modified with a DMS3 (Dev.olution Memory System 3) Version 2.0 chip :p

Features:
PSX, PS2, DVD (videos/movies), Dev.olution and Stealth Mode (let's me play via Ethernet/Network Adapter online with a chipped box). Applications can boot off the PS2 Memory Card, using Dev.olution Mode. Sleep and stealth modes are enabled/disabled via a simple eject button. Pressing any one button during boot (PS2 Controller) will select the different modes, namely the PS2, PSX, DVD and Dev.olution Modes.

Fancy stuff

- All region DVD movies, region codes removed
- Macrovision disabled
- Unlocks USA (R1) and all other regions, NTSC and PAL playback (on a PAL PS2)
- Directly boots CD-Rs and imports/backups, no swap trick required. This includes DVD-Rs and blank recordable media.
- Compatible with every PS2 on the market, but I have the Version 9 model (all console versions are supported)
- Directly boots all PS2 imports, copies, backups. All media, including DVD9 and Multi-titled discs (spanning multiple CDs or DVDs)
- Directly boots PSX titles. Games that have anti-modchip and blocking features are also working, in stealth (sleep) mode.
- PS2 Executables can be loaded, eg MP3, DivX straight from the memory card, using installed scripts.
- Ability to flash the modchip for future upgrades and bioses.
u have xbox aswell??
Very soon Huss, very soon. I just have to save up for a couple of things and all will be revealed. :shy:

Namely:
* Xbox Beast Pack, including:

- Xbox console with Special Edition controller (two controllers all up)
- Brute force and Midtown madness comes with the Beast Pack
- DVD Remote
- 2 Months subscription to Xbox Live! (online gameplay)
- 120GB Seagate 8MB Cache HDD

>1.3 Xbox chip, enabling everything under the sun (going to convert it into another PC) install Windows, stream movies across a wireless LAN, mp3s, Xbox games, temperature gauges and monitors, disk space indicators (120GB).

It will be sweet. ;)

Definately worth it, JAP/USA NTSC imports and DVD-R backups are the central point to my PS2. I would highly recommend the DMS3 over all other PS2 chips at the moment. If you like to keep things original - turn off the modchip! ;) However I understand any apprehension about voiding the warranty.

Thanks, I can go out right now and get one and "settle" for the 8GB (or 10GB) in-built HDD on FATX, but I would rather save a little bit extra, because right now I can remove one of my 120GB HDDs from my PC and format it (although I will be losing all data, which I require). That's why I'd rather wait a little bit longer, save a little extra, by Christmas time all should be ready and I'll be able to buy another 120GB (Seagate ST3120023A or higher), including the 8MB of cache (cheaper if I opt for the 2MB cache) and be able to FTP all the files across to the new Xbox HDD. Alternatively, I would still be able to do everything I wanted on the Xbox without any Xbox games, since it will become more of a media/jukebox and home theatre for my room, playing MP3's across the LAN (via Ethernet Cat5e cables), but there will be a wireless network adapter/interface for the Xbox, I might even import one from overseas and have it connect to the Access Point directly, allowing file sharing, internet connectivity and general streaming of all file types: XviD, DivX, VCD, SVCD, MOV, MPEG2/3/4. Basically all movie formats on the PC, even AAC on the Apple Mac (iTunes) would play, as it is just the same as having your PC, using your TV as a monitor (I do that all the time though, with TV-OUT and my S-Video cable).

Why, of course it's legitimate! :uhoh:
