Just wanting to know how long it takes people too write around 1000 words??

depends on the subject.Usually an hr + as I'm very slow at writing

Also depends on length of your words. Can take anywhere between 30-45 minutes.

all depends but you want to be able to write that in 35 mins.

in preparation for my Mod B exam a few weeks back i started practicing writing essays, and what i realised is that i only can write 700 words max in 40 mins, not that bad but not that good. i started practicing by exam time i could be able to write and easy 900 in 35 mins.

It takes me about 40 minutes to write 1000 words, but more words might not guarantee more marks in the end. It's about the quality, not the quantity. :)

never written essay at home under time conditions, but probs gonna say 50+ mins. im rlly slow. well usually cos i dont know what the fk is going on in english haha

These has to be a balance between legibility, quality and quantity. An essay's quality becomes diminished if it isn't legible, and an essay's quality can be diminished if what is said is not of high quality or repeated (total bullshit).

If an essay isn't legible, markers have trouble decoding the messages you are trying to communicate, and this affects the flow of the essay.
