Ok I started to read the foreword and it got boring so I'm like lets skip this and go to the story.. start reading 2-3 pages and I'm like wtf... Can't we study novels that are INTERESTING in the beginning so it will motivate me to read the rest.. but anyways.. the thing is I dont get it.. Can someone gimme a snap shot of what this book is about...

BNW is actually an alright book. I read it in 2 days, so at least it's short.

It's about a futuristic world where consumerism is their god, that about sums it up. Wait until you get to the part about John Savage before you make judgement.

And read the foreward after the story, it actually goes better that way.

it's not really the length of the book that matters. it's definitely the content - plot, themes, language, etc - that affects the way people respond to a text. so don't complain about length ! or use it as an arguement !

though i do admit, i'd really hate to be doing emma. and i can't imagine how a guy would be able to read it, because i;m told it's really a girl's book. do you go to a co-ed school? or do your teachers just really hate you guys and just want to torture you guys?
