Bah! It's only out of the way if you live in bloody whoop whoop.
Hehe only kidding folks.

Doe - it doesn't take that long to/from the QVB. I'm pretty sure it's less than hour, though it feels much longer. There are nearly as many buses to the QVB as to Epping (same route).

Also, there are more 545 buses on these days.

If you're on the north-shore and don't live near Chatswood station, then you really should be coming by car.

aaaaaah the good ol' chatswood bus. I'm sick of it already and I haven't even started yet. I always get the mean ol' bus drivers that make me pay full fare cause I haven't got a student card (hellooo? why else would I go to Macquarie Uni on a weekend??)

well, im 100% sure it used to. id finish maths lectures at 10am, jump on the bus at about 10:15 and get to work by 11:30 on a good day (inlcuding a short work from qvb to my work). that was in 2001 i think, its probably changed.

Hey Rahul have you ever considered catching the 611 from Blacktown to Macq uni? (it's a westbus bus) It might be quicker than train and bus, it takes about 50 min. I havent tried train + bus though, so i dunno. It might also be cheaper to just catch the one bus.... just a thought.

i gotta catch a 30 min bus from the estate to liverpool station, then train to strathfield, change to epping, then bus!!

it will cost me around $48-$50 if i get a 5 day timetable!! i wish i had a car!!

dun worry, I'm in the same situation :)
takes me 30 mins by bus to get to canley vale station :( I live too too far

My fare is roughly 9 bucks a day (with concession)
The thing is, i have 5 days/week for both semesters, which sux

Also, a car is more expensive though, think about petrol + the crummy insurance rate we have to pay

Ne1 goin to MQ from the Lane Cove area? I'll be catchin the bus from Epping Rd/Centennial Ave to Club Macq when i go to enrol on the 13th.

Should take 20+mins me thinks, depending on the traffic, but its against the flow so we'll see. :)

anything that says "city" on it... actually pretty much all buses from that side of epping station go through mac uni and they come often too... one every 5-10 minutes at least

Are the buses from Strathfield to Macquarie Uni faster? or from Epping to Macquaire Uni faster?? because i have to travel from the south-west to strathfield and from there to Epping...???

from strathfield to maq, it took jus under 30 mins today.

Except 291. But even that stops on Epping Rd near uni and you can walk in from there if you must.

The manly bus from Epping also goes via Club mac I think.
