He is a criminal in the libertarian sense of the word. He has committed crimes against people by authorizing violence against them, and the theft of their property.

Of course, the legal sense of the word that states that a criminal is anyone who doesn't follow the laws of the government would hold that Nelson Mandella was a criminal and Mao was a law abider.

Firstly, how has he authorized violence against anyone, or promoted theft of property? Secondly, you can't really draw comparisons between such regimes.
