Law exams generally have rather inventive names.

don't tell me you have to do mabo and wik again after doing in history then prelim legal...blah
All accounts say that legal really doesn't help one at law. Furthermore, a lot of law students haven't done legal, like me. So yes, they will go over all the "basic" stuff again.

Last year's legal studies HSC had the best:

We had legal history cut from 2 weeks to 30 mins because everyone hated it so very much.

Though Mabo and Wik may have been the dullest (or most dull), hardest and tedious thing we've done all semester.

What most people do is to either do a lease back or do an interest only loan.
If you really want to amortise the car, then you arrange a 60% residual.

That is how my mom has a cheap Mercedes ($60K ) that she only pays around
$ 400 a month for.

The benefit of this is that you change your car every three or 4 years.
Your mother likes to play with cars in her spare time?

Is bearpooh a yank? If not, why do you spell "mum" as "mom"
I doubt it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he'd want to look like one. After all, Australians aren't as well regarded.

Question: How many Aboriginals do law at USYD/UNSW?
You mean Aborigines. Aboriginal is the adjective, Aborigine is the noun, and this isn't even just for Australia.

Poohbear, a BCL isn't directly practical for those wanting to practice here, and it's exactly the same with a DPhil. Although doing both courses will help your general intellect (which will help your work), neither really would have any kind of career boost as an LLB or an LLM. You're clearly one of those silly people that love to collect degrees.

Ahah, yeh. It's like people saying "I'm doing an LLB", in order for the other person to ask what an LLB is.

hahah. The old QC probably comes from the age when "BA" was "AB".
