The severe consequences are pretty much hell (or Fire as the Quran describes it), so I would assume they are not imposed during one's life, unless we're talking about a country like Saudi Arabia, where there are punishments (enforced by the government) for breaching Islamic law.what are those "severe consequences" and who imposes that? like the mosque or just ur family?
