I did a 1 hour lesson finally because I finally bothered to start learning, so in essence i've already done 3 hours.

Question:

Do the RTA people fully count how many hours you've done and check every little detail? or do they just skim over it?

Planning to have the 120 hours complete within the next month, somehow :uhoh:

I was wandering that too.

my log book is so dodgy and I wanna fake some hours but fear if they look in detail.

From what I hear is that they don't look at it much, just flick through it.

I have done 40hrs in 9 months :(

Parents don't let me fake.
I had over a hundred at the 9 month mark :).

I had what? I think I said 150+ hours earlier in the thread? It's not a hard thing to get hours... Though I did drive half way to Melbourne and back from the Gold Coast in my first two weeks of having my L's haha.

Change pens, handwriting etc.

Make the odiometer skip a few km's every now and then.

lol nah dont think the handwriting and stuff will matter, what if someone only uses 1 type of pen?

Like my dad only uses black pilot, same as me :p

haha, that's a lot better than me, I've done 3 hours so far :( well 1 which = 3, in what, 2 yrs or something? =P

Should be done in 1-2 months tho, pretty sure my dad will make me drive him everywhere once I finish those 10 lessons I need >_>

I would never ever fake my hours. :)
Lol, unless I really had to for some reason.

I had lessons last year and the beginning of this year. Pretty much got everything done...
And I just drove after 6 months today.
Driving is fun haha.
That. ^

ok statistically (geography student) at this current rate with new drivers on the road, the infrastructure (roads) cannot keep up with the exponential increase in the amount of drivers on the street.

Cycling is good.

However, the infrastructure will not fail overnight. The increase in the number of cars on the road is certainly not exponential.

i'm not going to get my P's till after my HSC so i had enough times to legit do the 120 hours.

also i'm actually with a lot of people who say that there are a lot of fuckwits my age on their red P's who quite literally have no clue how to drive

yeah, they act good in the test but don't have the maturity to drive safely/properly when they are unsupervised.
agreed. the only way to curb their behaviour would be to increase the driving age. but thats unfair to the good drivers.
