p.s. to save you in the first week, lab books in chem arent due untill a few days before the next lab bio labs i think they try to scare you by making you do them in the lab time for the first week, but then it gets easier (thats what they did to us)

yep! they charge you for them,not too sure how it works but they charge it to your student account and you pay it l;ike your GSC, by invoicing it. heheh its cool to freak out people that dont go to uni with the dissection kit
i think it works like a rental thing,you borrow it and pay and then when you get to a higher year (not sure) you exchange it and pay a lil more and get an even better one so ive heard

oh and the exams are only on the content of the course, go to your lectures, do your labs and youll sooo be fine also going through old exams (in the library in short term loans) will help give you an idea and the lecturers use alot of questions from them only changing a few numbers etc

what sorta stuff do we have to disect? (im doing BIOL1110/1120)
coz i can handle brains,hearts,livers, that sorta stuff, but i refuse to do eyes and that...they tried to make us do a bulls eye in yr 7 and i sat at the desk...no way am i cutting something that is looking at me

omg, im going to flat out refuse!!! that is the grossest thing i have ever heard of, i cant stand cockroaches and rats are feral (no pun intended)!!!
how much does the lab coat/disecting kit cost?

i think all up it was like $35, you can refuse to actually do the disection but it means youll still have to watch over another group to get all the details and get all your maeks for participation in the lab. coz youll hafta get the information for the lab report

lol, i can understand why though...put it this way, if i see a cocky i run in the other direction screaming at someone to get rid of it and then once its gone i sterilise the whole area where its been...they are the grossest things on the face of the planet
