beause you can only get it if you live within 2km of an exchange.....(so there is not really any extra cost for them)

lol didnt i just explain it? and its only for new customers as well (so the price is to attract ne people)

Believe me no real catches.......its the plan im currently on btw, and its fine...

Their other plans are okay as well... Its not like primus is some obsurce startup company, its a well established international brand.

i saw the "2km from exchange" part but i thought there may be costs such as "this is the price if you get this and this and this also" like thats the price if u also get the home phone with them. i guess im just too suss of ISP's working at bigpond and seeing all the hidden costs...

lol u work at bigpond...???

Personally i thnk Internode is the best mainly because they are 'open minded' have great customer support, great games network, great network and are enabling DSLAMS for ADSL 2+ across Australia and they were as far as i know the first to start doing this.

did i mention that i get great speeds like most of the time close to maximum theoretical speeds - overheads...

EDIT: Actually I was a complete moron for going ADSL with Pacific Internet i got ripped off so hard $45 for 1GB 256kbps only good thing was that they had a seriously massive free download mirror oh and did i mention that if you go ova the limit its like 14cents per MB

and who is responsible for your connection to the internet....your ISP

factors on PING
-distance
-path followed
i.e. you can drive from Sydney to Melbourne via Canberra or you can drive from Sydney to Melbourne via Perth
-bandwidth
to name a few

Hey SashatheMan i connect to the Blacktown exchange too...
