2U Maths - 80.5/85

Quite a fair test apart from one two mark question, made a few careless mistakes but still topped the grade by a considerable margin.

3U Maths - 48/55

The teacher who the wrote 3U exam is notorious for making hard tests, I didn't find it too bad, I was 8 marks ahead of the next 3U guy and I'm told I beat a lot of the 4U people, so I'm quite happy.

Rest I get back next week.

MX2 93/100 (Should be higher by about 3/4 marks - bad hand writing ==') rank 1
Jap cont. 7/10 (everyone failed this) 15/15 4/5 9/10 19/20 rank 2
Jap ext. 9/15 for first section, don't know the rest, dropping
Phys 53/62 rank 3

I'm considering picking up Ext Jap. next year. Is it that good? Why'd you drop? I've heard it's super difficult.

I can't help but compare and I can't be satisfied with my marks knowing they're are others in the state doing so much better (

Music performance: 13/15 which I'm not happy with. Puts me equal 5th out of 7. That being said, the standard was pretty high and the marks for both assessments so far have been pretty close, so ranking wise it's still anyones game.

English: 11/15 for both the essay and the creative. Relatively pleased with that because I'm pretty sure it puts me above average. However, the english faculty has basically said we're a really weak cohort, so I'm very doubtful I'll scrape a band 6.

Only got music aural and physics left to get back

Just found out I got 19/20 and 19/20 for both my music 2 performances which is 1st (suck on that all u Lmus people in my class )
and for music ext. I got 49/50 for my comps/ folios.

10/15 for english short response. Surprisingly good considering the average was 6.

The english teachers are starting to worry.

WOW, for our AOS: Change, we got our marks back yesterday, and the teachers are pretty worried as well since the average for creative writing was like 8 or 9/15 and for short answers, it was around 10/15.

Economics - 53/60 - which was the top mark, surprisingly. I didn't think it'd be that 'low'.
English - 22/25 - yay, much better than expected (as my weakest subject)
4U Maths - 50/50 - ditto!
3U Maths - 53/55 - still not enough for top ;(
2U Maths - 78/78 - doesn't matter anyway
Physics (prac skills) - 47/60 - above average, which is decent. Not close to keeping my rank from last year, though.

All in all, extremely happy.

Bio - 83% rank 3
English Advanced - 100% Rank 1
Maths - 84% rank 2 (slightly impossible exam)
Maths Ext - 60% rank 3 (impossible exam the math dep. has it in for us)

I'm happy so far :] Not keen for MX2 mark though...

Economics - 40/50 - top mark but could of donebetter, forgot the answers to one short answer and two multiple choice ;/
English - 59/65 - screwed up short story :[ 13/15 short answers, 12/15 short story, 14/15 AoS Essay, 20/20 Module A.
4U Maths - Havn't received back.
3U Maths - 73/85 - Lost a few marks on probability and couldn't figure out one geometry. Still happy with 90% though.
2U Maths - Didn't do the exam
Ancient History - 44/50 - Forgot to add two sources for one short extended response and lost 2 marks... zzz

English - 77% (Unknown Rank)
Physics - 88% 1/10
Chemistry - 79% 2/16
MX2 - 99% 1/3
MX1 - 99% 1/5

Biology: 90% First in the year group. Pulled my rank from 3rd to 1st. Wahoo!

English adv: 34/45 Not happy with this at all. But it was an above-average mark. Dropped my rank by a few.

Gen maths: 56/70 Fifth in the year group. Could have done better though, but I pulled my rank up from 21st to 6th, which is awesome. I could have done better if my calculator didn't die in the last section.

Physics: 53% Average mark, came exactly in the middle of the class. Pulled my rank up. Honestly better than I expected =P

English Advanced - 28/30 for first two sections of AOS, 20/20 for Module A assessment: Around equal top
English Extension 1 - 38/40: Topped
French - 56.5/65: Topped
Music 2 - 28.5/35: Topped

Still need Religion back but I'm pretty happy so far.
