english - 12/15 (ridiculous because i've been getting 14.5 all year!)
english 1 - 24/25 (very surprised, but i love 'Retreat from the Global')
english 2 - 10/10 (just my journal, which is weighing like a very big brick)
biology - not yet
society & culture- 17/20, 17/20 (very happy, because i've improved! yay!)
maths - 70% (big shock. second in my class. very big shock.)

:) the marks i've seen in this thread have been amazing. Well done everyone, they're really inspiring.

I know this sounds stupid, but does anyone want to look at my above marks and want to estimate my UAI? (i go to a selective school btw) Just curious. presuming my marks have been alike throughout yr 12. thanks. i need motivation!

Omg....this is so annoying! I'm getting relatively crappy marks/ranks in Mathematics Extension 1 and better marks/ranks in Mathematics Extension 2. My overall rank has gone downhill since coming 3rd in the first assessment task for Extension 1. I got chopped by so many non-Extension 2 people as well.....As for Extension 2, I remain in the top 5....
Mathematics Extension 1 Short Exam - 40/48 (rank ~ 15th?)
Mathematics Extension 2 Short Exam - 43/48 (rank ~ 2nd/3rd?)

Looks like I need to work on harder on Extension 1 now, rather than Extension 2 lol....

Chem practical - 18/27 (shocking :chainsaw:)

Mm that's pretty bad... at my school we did all our assessments prior to this term, meaning the trials are the last assessments that count before the final exams. By the way, nice work with the physics test!

You lucky bastards! I have assessment tasks DURING the trial exam period for all my subjects except Mathematics Extension 1/2. I've got practical exams for Science and a speech for English.

wow, you guys have assessments after trials? good luck in them everyone :D

we dont...i had my last 3 assessments today for maths english and bio....bio went surprisingly well, we had to do a presentation on a non infectious disease. i was reallllly nervous coz we weren't allowed palm cards or anything but it went fine *relief*...

english was actually a bit meh, someone's phone rang half way through and completely screwed my concentration.

maths....well what can i say, its maths. i tried, but i will be lucky to get a good mark on this one.... but im very very very over this subject so really, as bad as it sounds to say, i just dont care.

we did our last modern assessment on tuesday...our teacher said this was an assessment "to learn a lesson from" which translated means we did pretty badly overall. i think i did okay myself though, she said the main problem was not enough historiography going on, but i made a good attempt at it. perhaps not enough though.

what else...oh we also had an ext 1 english speech to do *cringes* mine was pretty bad. everyone else had this ultra-sophisticated-fabulously-exclusive analysis of their character (we had to choose one and do a monologue from their point of view)....mine was just not. *crosses fingers for a good mark* lol.

also getting GP marks from drama back nxt week. our group never did the assessment because one of our members had her wisdom teeth out like 2 days before and couldnt do it...she's still in a bit of pain now after a week...but its turned out we dont have to do it, our teacher is just going to assess us based on our previous progress performances and showcase nights, etc. it should be alright.

and congratulations to everyone on their great marks; you all seem to be going great, keep it up :D

I got 12/15 in my Frontline panel task... Even though it was a last day job (like most assessments) I was unhappy for two reasons.

1. I finished before midnight (a serious achievement, I've started assignments AFTER midnight and still gotten better results)

2. I initially got 13 but was brought down to 12 coz it had "comparatively less flair than other A-range responses" GRRRRR :chainsaw:
