I don't think we get phone calls for the normal degrees. You can probably find your offers on the UAC site on the 17th of January. As for chances of getting first preference for accommodation, I asked Katie the Bruce Hall receptionist when I went up to ANU recently and she said that it was a random pick, with UAI score being a small factor taken into consideration.

By the way, if I were to receive an offer from ANU and declined it, would the contract with the residential college I was placed with also be voided?

If you didn't accept your offer then yes it would.

tbh i cant actually remember. Just check your emails, that anu online thing ( http://asp.anu.edu.au/AppStatus.asp ) and keep your phone turned on for the next few days. Don't worry - if you are eligible for guaranteed accomodation they wont just 'forget' about you.

i got told by the accommodation enquiy chick that if i havent gt an offer in the next few days i should call upo and see whats going on. she loved me coz i was from melbourne, ad she wanted to know all about the weather..haha

I hope so most people will help you. I doubt anyone would be like "fuk off!" lol.
ANU is big, so its possible to get lost. If people know where the place is they can help you out. Make friends with the second years too, therefore you can get tips, cheap text books, and they will help you with courses, lecturers, and locations

Bleh. Mine isn't even "Under Consideration", it's "Academic Offer Made". Does anyone know if offers are made on weekends? I'm not too worried, really, I know I'll get a bed somewhere, but it's damn annoying!

to my knowledge, acaedemic offer has being made but a) you havent accepted your offer via the anu website or b) you have and its taking time to process. Make sure you have accepted your acaedemic offer

Hey Eriny, have you accepted your offer yet? There's a link right next to your PhB (Arts) offer and it should say something like "instructions on how to accept your offer". Even if they weren't considering it, they should be displaying "Academic Offer Accepted".

I have accepted my offer, but I haven't enrolled because I haven't gotten my paperwork yet (I suppose that'll probably come on Monday?).
