Very disappointed with both of my maths. Maths Ext 1 I was consistently getting 90%'s and then in the exam nerves just freaked me out. Sigh.

Overall ATAR - 99.60 even with my crappy paper 2 and maths marks, so kids, do 4u and you will succeed. Sort of.

I wanted to do MX2 but after listening to people, they said it takes up a lot of their time - leading to them neglecting their other subjects. I have 11 units and im still failing at time management. So I reckon it's good to do MX2 if you have good mathematical ability rather than average.

If you ENJOY mathematics, and you are scoring great marks in Mathematics Extension 1, go for it. For example, my prelim ext 1 was about 88% and I enjoyed it and went for it.
I say try it and you can always drop later. I didn't pay too much attention to it all throughout the year mostly towards the end because I thought I would drop but I didn't

School rank was ~190 but moved up to ~150. I got the highest ATAR/UAI our school has had in the last 15 or so years - very happy.

Dw I know a lot of people who did well in schools assessments/exams and ended up wrecking the externals, nerves really does affect you badly

Yeah wtf for MX1.

I'm guessing I got 50/70 raw for 91 exam mark (counted it to be 55/70 after the exam though)/

For MX2 I was pretty much on the jackpot though. 88 exam mark must have been a 62-64/100 raw.
