Yes I think 500+ Hizbollah were killed because Israeli Military sources are reliable, they enver hide how many soldiers they lost nor exaggerate the numbers of enemy killed.

What is wrong with celebrating if you won a bitter war against people who want to destroy you just because of your race and religion? Even Arabs and Iranian are celebrating the death of 1000+ lebanese so Israelis have every right to celebrate :D

Contrary to what you wish and wanted a vast majority of the world support Israel, and there are more people who hate muslims/arabs than jews in the world because of your violence towards non muslims.

I can post what people think of muslims in a degrading way but thats not my intention here.

No, you can't - criticism of any group must be informed and somewhat constructive (at the very least) otherwise it will be removed.

It isn't a competition.

A lot of territory that ISrael holds - according to the Un dont belong to them...

They won the wars, all started by arabs fair and square and the winner have the right to appropriate the land as they wish.

1000 Civilians. and how did that figure of milatant of 400 rise to 500 in one day - mate where u getting this false infor from

Check wikipedia, casualties of Lebanon-israel conflict

funnily they never did rules sth lebanon

Hizbollah was a de facto independent state within Lebanon, they ruled South Lebabon since june 2000, even the Lebanese Govt did not have sovereignty over it. This clearly shows your ignorance about the region.

as far as i can see - hezbollah were playing a defensive role and israel was the aggressor.

Right yeah Israel did not cross border and abduct Hizbollah fighters on July 12, it was Hizbollah who crossed the border, violating Israeli Sovereignty and kidnapped 2 soldiers, Israel have every right to do what it wants towards hizbollah.

more like ur a cheering the death of innocent pple - typical jew - wats that jenizpoo?

Arabs and iranians are cheering too why just jews? By the way it was Arabs in Gaza and Lebanon who celebrate the killing of 2700+ people at WTC in NY and the killing of 191 people in Madrid by Muslim terrorists and the killing of 37 people in London tube and bus bombing.. Now tell me is that typical muslim and typical arabs

define terrorism - the unlawful use or threatened use of force by a person or an organised against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments.

- israel has defied several UN security council resolutions, 32 in fact, twice as many as iraq had prior to the illegal invasion of iraq. israel has illegally invaded and occupied territories in the west bank and gaza and set up illegal civilian settlements, acts which are actively disallowed by the UN

- israel has publically denounced and assasinated several hamas leaders, who were democratically elected to government. israel has no right to interfer in the politics of another country.

- israel has undertaken collective punishment in lebanon and palestine with the bombings of the power plants and electricity grids, airports and other infrastrucutre not to mention thousands of homes, this fits under the threatened use of coercion and force

these crimes all fit under the definition of terrorism. so israel is a terrorist state. and the israeli governemnt should be put in front of an international tribunal and punished accordingly for their crimes against humanity.

PS - enough with the crap about israels right to exist - they already do exist. what israelis have to do now is recognise palestines right to exist, with its own free territories and capital

Israel, has tried to establish a two-state solution and in the process creating a sovereign state for the palestinians. the palestinians on numerous occasions turned down the agreement choosing instead to blow up a school bus or packed restaurant. if the palestinians accepted the original UN plan they would of had a sovereign state for 58 years now.

Id like to point out that the Reuters dodgyness is not because the agency isnt nonpartisan, but because they now outsource their photography work to people living in the country (who obviously may have certain opinions on events, and not be schooled in western journolism) rather then spend the money sending foreign photographers into the country. But yeah, its a fucking joke.

edit: yeah i finished reading it, it has that sort of stuff at the bottom. good find.

Hamas leaders were never elected until the last Palestinian election held in January this year. All hamas leaders assassinated were before that time.

Israel never assassinated elected leaders, instead it killed terrorist leaders notably many leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad which is a good thing.

For your information, Hamas is a terrorist organisation under US, EU and Australian Law.

PS. Do not forget thousands of cafes and buses blown up by Hamas and Islamic jihad suicide bombers, its a cycle of violence with no end in sight. The less powerful one will have to suffer. It is survival of the fittest :D

PS answer me how can you win a war when you lost your territory, 10 times more people and never reached an enemy soil ,and you are going to be disarmed and will never rule southern Lebanon again ?

do you think:

Israel got back its soldiers?
Israel destroyed Hezbollah?
Israel achieved its original war aims?
Israel stopped the rocket attacks?
Israel improved its standing on the int'l state?
Israel enhanced the reputation of the IDF?
Israel improved the UN's credibility?
Israel made the USA's strategy for a 'new ME' more workable?
Israel maintained its deterrent capability (one of its main strategic playing cards throughout its history)?

The jews in Israel dont think they won.

If you disagree with them, that would be anti-semetic

Don't be an idiot, jordan (and if you think that you are merely replying in kind, please don't because it does nothing to help your argument).

explaining again for the slow one. Hamas, is a democratically elected government, this is democracy at work and israel has absolutely no right to interfer - it is increasingly arrogant of the israeli gov. to think their form of 'democracy' is superior to the other countries.
secondly, somebody running into israel with bombs make choices. these people have nothing to do with politics. what a 'militant leader' or 'spiritual leader' says has no effect on what someone does, everone has choices and make their own decisions without being influneced without others, just like how what i tell you doesnt determine the course of action you take - one persons crude action shouldnt lead to the punishment and slaughter of entire populations

I don't understand what was wrong with Jordan's post. He's expressing his opinion and presuming another but it wasn't like he attacked another's arguments in the way you've allowed some other's to pass through your screen Generator.

Israel got back its soldiers?

No it dont but it will in due course and killed 500+ hizbollah terrorists.

Israel destroyed Hezbollah?

Yes, 500+ hizbollah terrorists are killed and they lost their sovereignty over South Lebanon.

Israel achieved its original war aims?

To a certain degree yes, it wanted Israel out of reach of hizbollah rockets and removal of Hizbollah rule over south lebanon which is achieved.

Israel stopped the rocket attacks?

Yes the last rockets fired by Hizbollah cant reach israel because Israel succeeded in pushing them north up to 20 miles.

Israel improved its standing on the int'l state?

Yes it shows that it will not be intimidated nor subjected to blackmail, it shows its strength and is wiling to fight any time anywhere.

Israel enhanced the reputation of the IDF?

Yes, with a killing ratio of 1:10 it is indeed the best soldiers in the world.

Israel improved the UN's credibility?

Yes , Israel complied with the latest UN resolution by observing ceasfire

Israel made the USA's strategy for a 'new ME' more workable?

It is not Israel's burden to make US task easy, the war does not change how arabs viewd US. They always hated US policy no matter what.

Israel maintained its deterrent capability (one of its main strategic playing cards throughout its history)?

yes, the last rounds of hizbollah rockets failed to reach Israel, thats the main threat for Israel up until now. If there was no deterrence surely all arab/islamic countries will declare war against israel. They've always been defeated in all wars that is why none of them dare to fight Israel again. They choose to fight through a terrorist organisation hiding behind civillians.

The jews in Israel dont think they won.

Its not about what they think, it is about what happen on the ground and what have been achieved. Unlike arabs israelis value life, losing a single soldier for somepeople means they lost everything. They set high standard for winning a war, they did not claim win for just fighting. For Hizbollah, the mere fight against Israel is a victory (according to you) no matter how many men/civillian/territories/infrastructure lost.

If you disagree with them, that would be anti-semetic

You need to look ecyclopedia to understand the meaning of Anti-semitic :D

Hamas leaders recruited and sent suicide bombers to israel, they are responsible. They recruited, trained and gave money to the family members of suicide bombers.
What is the point of being a LEADER unless you have no responsibility? You are a leader for a reason and you are responsible for what happen under your responsibility. Amanda Slobstone is responsible for anything happening under the dept of Immigration in Australia no matter whether it was happening with her knowlege or not.

Hamas was not democratically elected ruler of palestine until january 2006. This is the first time hamas ruled Palestine.

Palestine is not an independent country at the moment, it is still technically under the Authority of Israel and Israel have the right to interfere just like Commonwealth Govt have the right to interfere in NSW.

one persons crude action shouldnt lead to the punishment and slaughter of entire populations

There are morethan 100 suicide bombings since 2000 some suicide bombers were as young as 11 yrs old. An 11 yrs old cannot give consent regarding whether to commit suicide bombings or not. Those tho conditioned him and trained him to commit such atrocities are responsible for the boys act. Israel did not slaughter the whole population, it killed terrorist leaders , if it slaughtered the whole population there wont be 4 million palestines living in Israel , gaza and west bank today.
