lol.. did you mean me ? :D

Oh wow, there's at least 4 hot guys in this show -- Jack (is that his name ? matthew fox has never looked better !), Dom, umm the lifeguard dude and the other guy who was smoking, i think.. if any of them die that would seriously suck ass..

does anyone know if the chik who plays kate is australian or american ? i think i read somewhere she was aussie. not sure.

and i definitely think that *creature* thing is a dinosaur...
they make it sound like it's possible it's a dinosaur but from it's behaviour with surronding environment ( all you've got to go with really ) it's not possible that it's a dinosaur.

Can I say "Lord of the Flies"? The beast in the mind...a main character called Jack. I think I can see where this show is going.

I was just thinking, they made a point of showing a dog (from memory, a golden labrador), and I wonder the significance of it to plot development.

You obviously missed the point by about a million miles. They ate a pig. The pig was the symbol of the 'beast' in all of their minds corrupting them into fighting each other. This show should be good, as it must finish after they get rescued, instead of dragging out a once worthey script into the dirt and piling a tonne of dog crap on it (ala Friends). But then again, once "The OC" was axed by Nine I thought common sense had prevailed in the TV industry, so we can't expect too much level headedness.

Are those encores the same as the ones first aired? or are they special?

encore = replay = repeat of the premiere episodes. This will also be the same for ep2,3 and how long seven wants to continue this.

What the hell is going on with all the encores, we have Lost, Desperate Housewives, and I hear today NBN (Nine) is doing an encore of Starstruck

Its a very common US tactic to air encores on the weekends of top shows. Seven are riding on the sucess of these shows and it s avry good tactic.

she's Australian. if it was a dinosaur then wouldn't it roar or make a thumping sound like in Jurassic Park.
they didn't want to make it so obvious straight away I 'spose.. I dunno, I just seriously think it's a dinosaur for some reason.

evangeline lilly who plays kate is canadian, emile de ravin who plays claire the pregnant girl is australian
oh ok, thx. it would've been cool if the star of a hit US show was australian but yeh anywho.

maybe the dog is the secret "beast" that turns savage at night....

i watched the encore of lost last night. it was on pretty late, but i dont sleep till late.
it was kinda trippy. the island reminds me a bit of jurassic park.
and whats with the dog? does it like, grow bohemoth and eat people and stuff?
and that fat dude with the curly hair is pretty cool.
ill definatly be watching this show again. i going to watch it, but after watching the encore after nothing else was on tv, it looks good.
